On Monday, members of LouvainMUN had the honour of meeting with the French Ambassador to Belgium for a thoughtful and enriching exchange.
Over the course of our visit, we had the opportunity to discuss the responsibilities and missions that define the role of an ambassador, the remarkable career path that led him to this position, and the particular challenges of representing France in Belgium.
What we will remember most is the quality of the dialogue. The Ambassador engaged with us with remarkable openness and generosity, turning this visit into a genuine and meaningful conversation about diplomacy and international relations.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Ambassador for the time he dedicated to us and for the insights he so graciously shared. It was a privilege to be welcomed in this way, and an experience that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on all of us.

Yesterday, the members of Louvainmun had the incredible opportunity to meet a former Belgian ambassador, Françoise Gustin, over lunch.

We dove into pressing global issues, explored the future of diplomacy in the age of AI, and gained invaluable advice from her inspiring journey in the diplomatic world.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the ambassador for her time and insightful perspectives, as well as to the restaurant, Louvain House, for their gracious hospitality. It was a privilege to engage in such meaningful dialogue.
