Instituut voor Arbeidsrecht - KU Leuven Het Instituut voor Arbeidsrecht maakt deel uit van de rechtsfaculteit van de KU Leuven. The Institute for Labour Law was founded in the mid sixties by em. Prof.

Dr. Roger Blanpain. Since 1998, the institute has been under the leadership of em. Dr. Othmar Vanachter, who passed on the torch in 2009 to Prof. Dr. Frank Hendrickx. In 2017 the Institute was joined by Prof. Dr. Valerio De Stefano. The Institute of Labour Law, together with the Institute for Social Law, is part of the Labour Law and Social Security Law Department. This is one of the departments o

f the Faculty of Law of the KU Leuven. The main task of the Institute for Labour Law is to provide education and scientific research in the field of labour law in the broad sense of the word. In addition, attention is also paid to sports law.
