More time.

More ease.

But the Sunnah also teaches us to ask Allah to protect what we already have.

Protect your knowledge from becoming useless.

Your heart from becoming hard.

Your soul from always wanting more.

And your du’a from going unanswered.

Sometimes the greatest blessing is not receiving something new.

It is being protected from losing what Allah has already given you.

Allah has given us far more than we could ever repay.

The more you recognize His blessings, the harder it becomes to take your life for granted.

So make Alhamdulillah more than a word you say after receiving something you wanted.

Say it for what Allah has already given you.

Gratitude changes the way you see what you already have.

You have more to say Alhamdulillah for than you realise.

You woke up today.
You can breathe.
You can walk.
You can see.
You can hear.
You have food to eat and a place to sleep.
You have people you love.
You have another day to pray, repent, learn and become better.

These are not small things.

We get so used to our blessings that we stop noticing them.

So say Alhamdulillah.

Not only when something new enters your life.

Say it for what has been there all along.

Choosing not to argue.

Being gentle with your parents.

Taking care of someone who has no one.
The deeds may look small to you.

But with Allah, you never know which one becomes your way to Jannah.

Don’t underestimate the small deeds.

Jannah is different.

What Allah promises there doesn’t fade, expire, or leave you wanting more.

And perhaps Allah gives us these glimpses so we don’t just know about Jannah.

We long for it.

Because Jannah isn’t only about what you will receive.

It’s about Who you will be with.

And the more you know Allah, the more you understand why Jannah is worth striving for.

Know His Names.
See them in your life.
Live by them.
