GiantPandaGlobal.com is an educational website about giant pandas. Our mission is to spread the word about giant panda conservation.

www.GiantPandaGlobal.com was founded by Jeroen Jacobs on October 15, 2000. His panda story started in the summer of 1987 when two giant pandas visited his home town Antwerp. The giant panda is listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union’s (IUCN’s) Red List of Threatened Animals. There are about 1864 left in the wild. About 425 giant pandas live in captivity (breeding centers & zoos). This website will take you on a tour around the world to visit the giant pandas.
