670 nautical miles. Three weeks. From summer to the first signs of winter!
From Ålesund to Tromsø. No records in miles sailed, but a journey through the changing seasons. From the last days of summer, along the autumn colours of the Norwegian coast, to the first snow on the mountain peaks.
We crossed the Arctic Circle once again. Back in the Arctic, where we feel at home and where our winter programme is about to begin.
But this voyage was about much more than sailing north.
Our guests from Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK stood watches, learned to navigate, kept lookout and became part of everyday life aboard Saeftinghe.
Three weeks at sea. Working together, discovering new places, sharing stories and plenty of laughter along the way.
They arrived as strangers and left as friends.
And perhaps that's one of the most beautiful things about sailing aboard Saeftinghe.
Out Of The Ordinary. Not because of the miles we sail, but because of what we experience along the way.
