Eight in a row. That’s how we roll… or rather, walk. 🥾

Today we walked our change 🥾💫🌱

30/08/2026

📅 Mark your calendar – the Sunday walks are back! 🍂🥾

Your diary will fill up anyway.

The only question is: will you also make room for yourself?

The holidays are coming to an end, routines are returning, and the pace of everyday life is picking up again.

So why not set aside one Sunday each month to slow down?

Fifteen kilometres. Fresh air. Meaningful conversations. New places. New perspectives. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to return home feeling lighter than when you left.

🥾 Walks: approximately 15 km
🚶 Pace: 4.5–5 km/h
🌍 Languages: French, Dutch & English – everyone is welcome. A smile is the only universal language.

Upcoming Sunday walks
• 27 September – Blaasveld
• 25 October – Bernissart
• 15 November – Leefdaal
• 13 December – Vleteren

Whether you’re joining for the very first time or returning for another walk, I’d love to welcome you.

Happiness is contagious. 😄✨
Sometimes all it takes is a smile, a laugh… and a moment that doesn’t need explaining.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 ⛱️ ?
𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭... 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘐 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱.

After completing just over a quarter of the GR20, I was asked to leave the group.

I was the slowest hiker. The days were long. Afternoon thunderstorms were becoming a real risk. In the mountains, one person's pace affects the safety of the whole group.

It hurt. 💔

The challenger in me kept nagging.
Another part knew that safety had to come before pride.
Damn... there it was again. My perpetual dilemma.
𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼?

𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
📊 The facts:
• I was slower than the rest of the group.
• The weather window was closing earlier each afternoon.
• Continuing increased the risk for everyone.
𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻.
❤️ My feelings:
• My ego wanted to continue.
• I felt disappointed.
• I wanted to finish what I started.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲.
Ironically, a few days later I found myself exactly where I had joked I wouldn't be...
On a beach… Trying to figure out what had happened.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱.
Because sometimes leadership means recognising that changing course is wiser than pushing on.

I don't want to contribute to the idea that we have to succeed at everything the first time.
𝗜'𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
And accepting that sometimes the bravest decision is not to continue.

❓𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂: 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀?
❓𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁?

03/07/2026

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹? 🏖️
a coachee asked at the end of our session when I mentioned I wouldn't be available for two weeks.

Fair question.

Because in July, I'll spend 12 days hiking the GR20 in Corsica. From north to south.

And honestly?
Now that it's becoming real, I'm excited.😀

Somewhere between buying hiking gear and checking altitude differences, I caught myself thinking:
❓𝗜𝗳 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄... 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜?

At a certain point in life, you realise some dreams have an expiration date.
Not because we suddenly become old overnight.
But because comfort slowly becomes more seductive than adventure.

And maybe that is exactly why this trek matters to me.
Not to prove anything to anyone.
But to reconnect with the part of myself that still wants to explore, struggle a little, feel alive and occasionally say yes to uncertainty.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵...𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴.𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦.𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴.

In the meantime, another terrifying thought 😬 has also entered the room.
❓𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱?
❓𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 "𝗜 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻" 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵?
The disappointment. The embarrassment. The possibility that confidence meets reality.

And yet...
Maybe those fears and doubts are exactly what make it meaningful.
𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙨.
𝙄𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚.

Maybe mountains don't call us to conquer them.
𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴.

“The GR20 is calling and I must go.”

But before I go, I'm curious:
❓𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹?
❓𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄... 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻?
🏞️ ❤️

Forty-five Sunday hikes later… 🌿

45 Sunday hikes ago, I organised the first Walk Your Change walk.

What started as a simple idea became a beautiful tradition: people coming together to walk, connect, reflect and enjoy nature along beautiful trails, one Sunday at a time.

Over the years, we have shared kilometres, conversations, laughter, moments of silence, exchanging smiles and shared stories. 🗣️

And while every walk followed a different path, they all reminded me of the same thing:
People need space.
🌿Space to slow down.
🌿Space to breathe.
🌿Space to reconnect with themselves and with others.

In a world that constantly encourages us to do more, move faster and stay busy, a few hours of walking can be surprisingly powerful. Not because it solves everything, but because it helps us see things differently.

These 45 hikes have taught me that some of the best conversations happen side by side rather than face to face. That strangers can become familiar faces. And that walking often creates the clarity we have been trying to find elsewhere.

To everyone who joined one or more of these walks over the years: thank you.
🫶 Thank you for your presence.
🫶 Thank you for your trust.
🫶 Thank you for the stories you shared.
🫶 Thank you for the laughter.
🫶 And thank you for every step we took together.

This gratitude extends to every single person who joined us along the way.

The walks are now taking a summer break 🏖️.
New dates will be announced in September.

If you've been thinking about joining for a while, perhaps this autumn is your sign.

Come for the walk.
Stay for the conversations, the stories and the laughter.
Leave with a little more space than you arrived with.
Together, we walk. 🥾

Just girls, just joy, just dancing.💃
When the music hits… we don’t think, we move.
Unfiltered fun. That’s it.

19/04/2026

Side by side. No rush, no race. 🐌
Just movement, at your own rhythm.

Some paths don’t ask for speed.
They ask for presence.

Today we walked our change 🥾
