Big news from Summer School Ghent! We're thrilled to be partnering with the ANSER Academic Network on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right Policies. ANSER is an international thematic network initiated by the Ghent University that brings together 42 academic and non-profit institutions from all over the world to build evidence for sexual and reproductive health policies.
ANSER has recently launched the ANSER Master Students Network which strives to enhance the connection between students, research, and health policy making, while also providing education opportunities. This opportunity will enable master students to collaborate on joint research projects and participate in current policy debates to enhance their knowledge and skills in sexual and reproductive health and rights policy.
As we look ahead to the coming months, we're excited to embark on a new chapter in the history of Summer School Ghent. With the talented and passionate masters’ students of ANSER on board, we're confident that this partnership will bring new ideas, fresh perspectives, and innovative approaches to the program.

We had to host the previous edition online like most organizations but we hope to welcome you all in Ghent again next summer!

From the 3rd to the 14th of July 2022 we will provide a 12-day educational program with students from all over the world and we hope to host it in Ghent in person like we did before the pandemic.

As our summer school has come to an end, we wanted to thank everyone who contributed to making this project possible:
First of all, we want to thank all of our lecturers. Thanks to their dedication, 112 students from all over the world gained access to education on these important topics and a got a chance to interact with an expert. They made it possible for us to provide an extensive curriculum full of variety, that covered the topics 'Health & Globalization' and 'Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights' in their broadest sense.
We also want to thank the ANSER Network and especially prof. Olivier Degomme, Universiteit Gent, Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens and the Enlight Network, who helped us all in making this student-based project reach a wider audience. We also want to thank prof. Valentina Gallo from the summer school in Groningen on 'Sustainable Health' for the enriching collaboration.
Next, we want to thank all of our participants for joining us this summer and sharing their opinions and experiences with their peers. There was mutual curiosity and the desire to get to know each other, something we can only be grateful for. Therefore, we sincerely hope that in the future we will get the chance to meet each other in real life!
And finally, we want to thank all of our summer school team members, who have worked diligently on this project for almost a whole year. We are beyond proud of this team and its achievements, and are looking forward to another great edition next year.
And so this edition ends, with a lot of kind words from our participants and a newly regained energy for 2022! See you then!
