Field Studies is coming back, taking its radical open-ended method, animated by people, place, and the ideas they share to LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, 10–14 Sep 2025. The programme grew from a place of listening and sound. Questions we are now asking around the voice, embodiment and performance have always animated Field Studies, and grew from there into so much of the work Musarc has been doing with artists, organisations, in classrooms since Field Studies started in 2010. Have a look at this year's line-up of tutors and see the inspiring place we will be working in, eating together, and sharing in conversations, artists' talks, performances. Keep an eye on this space and Instagram where we will be sharing stories about our tutors, partner organisations and the programme. Field Studies 2025 is organised by Joseph Kohlmaier/Musarc, London Metropolitan University, and co-curated with Wim Lambrecht, LUCA School of Arts. The summer school is open to anyone. Applications are open now. https://field-studies.org
