SPEEDDATE MACHINES + MUSIC AND DRINKS. 🍷

On the 24th of October from 18-22, the MMLab and the MMakerspace students organise a CAD/CAM speed date.

Our goal is to introduce CAD/CAM techniques, tips and tricks and new machines that you don’t know yet.
In short curated sessions the MMakerspace students will introduce 3D printers, vacuum forming, CNC, cutting plotters, Lasercutters and so on.

We aim for a fun night, with lots of cool need to know (if you value sleep) timesavers and endless possibilities.
To make sure you absorb all this knowledge, drinks will be on sale by Archein, this way you can see double the information.

filled out all appointments the best I could, but there is simply no more time. This week including weekend is FULL.

it's the time of the year again! (We'll be very strict about this)

we have a substitute jet-engine ventilator and lasercutters are back in business (I may have lost a few good years of my life though)

Another day another problem. The solution that was proposed proved to be the size of an airplane motor with dito sound levels and no way to get it connected.
I have no idea who came up with this as a solution but the sad result is that the ventilation is still dead in the water.
Again promises are made to get it resolved next Monday, so with whatever hope I have left the aims to get it fixed on Monday.

tomorrow there will be a temporary solution being installed to get our lasers back.

Would opening this Saturday and or Sunday help with making up for some lost time? Please comment!

Much to my regret the ventilation issues persist. Only next week Wednesday there will be a check up of the system. Only at this point it will be possible to either get it fixed or make an informed estimate on the expected day of operation.

I'm really sorry about these issues, please feel free to address your complaints about these issues either to me (I'll forward them to the ones in charge) or directly.
