In this making-of, you can see how we carefully apply each enamel color to reveal Spirou & Fantasio. The artwork comes to life layer by layer.

Color layer. Drying.
Another layer. Drying again.
This process continues until every detail and every shade is perfectly in place.

Only then does the piece enter the kiln at approximately 800°C, where the enamel fuses into the steel and becomes vibrant, glossy, and permanent.

A true fusion of comic art and craftsmanship.

In de jaren '80 bracht Emaillerie Belge een reeks unieke emailleborden uit met tekeningen van Kuifje - de geliefde stripheld van Hergé. Deze borden werden vervaardigd in beperkte oplages en met toestemming van de auteursrechthouders. Door de combinatie van vakmanschap, artistieke waarde en de rijke geschiedenis zijn ze vandaag de dag zeer gewild onder verzamelaars.

Dans les années 80, Emaillerie Belge a réalisé plusieurs séries de plaques émaillées en éditions limitées, illustrées avec Tintin — le célèbre héros de bande dessinée créé par Hergé. Produites avec l’accord des ayants droit, ces plaques allient savoir-faire, valeur artistique et histoire.
Aujourd’hui, elles sont devenues de véritables pièces de collection très recherchées.

Yesterday, the Brussels Beer Challenge award for Best Belgian Beer was officially handed over 🍻

We had the honour of creating the enamel awards for six categories — we are proud to support this project.

Once again, congratulations to Delirium Brewery, winner of Best Belgian Beer with their Averbode Extra. A well-deserved recognition! We hope the enamel panel finds a beautiful place in the brewery and becomes a lasting symbol of this achievement.

A special thank you to Brussels Beer Challenge for this wonderful initiative. Supporting breweries also means supporting Belgian craftsmanship and heritage — values we strongly believe in and should truly cherish.
