New semester, new schedule — Starting in the week of 28/9, our Language Tables are back!
Want to practise speaking in a relaxed, friendly setting? Join one (or more!) of our weekly conversation tables and meet fellow language lovers while improving your skills. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to advanced speakers 🌍

This semester's schedule:
🇬🇧 English: Tuesday 13h–14h
🇩🇪 Deutsch: Mittwoch 13h–14h
🇪🇸 Español: Jueves 12h–13h
🇮🇹 Italiano: Giovedì 12h–13h
🇫🇷 Français: Jeudi 16h–17h @ PILAR - find the monthly schedule via on Instagram!
🇳🇱 Nederlands: Vrijdag 13h–14h

April 2026 um 18 Uhr zeigt der Deutsche Filmclub der VUB den Film „Der Held vom Bahnhof Friedrichstraße“, eine Komödie von Wolfgang Becker (auch bekannt durch „Goodbye Lenin!“), in der Sie einige Berliner Locations wiedererkennen werden. Anbei finden Sie die Einladung. Erleben Sie im Learning Theatre (Raum LIC.0.04) einen unvergesslichen Kino-Moment!

Dear Language Tables Aficionados! Exciting news for French lovers! 🇫🇷 The French Apéro is getting a fresh new home and will now be organized by the student circle Brussels Association for Linguistics and Literary Studies (BALL). Join them every Thursday at Bar Pilar, with sessions at either 2 pm or 4 pm, depending on the week (see Calendar image) You’ll be welcomed by enthusiastic francophone native speakers and students from the Linguistics and Literary Studies program - guaranteeing lively conversations, good vibes, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you want to practice your French, meet new people, or just enjoy a fun break in your week, this is the place to be! Got questions?
