Our next English Spoken Mass is just around the corner. This next Sunday, May 10th, we will hold our monthly service at 10a.m. in Diepenbeek, Rooierheide.

In the Roman Catholic Church, May is the month of Mary. We will therefore be focusing more on Mary’s role as the mother of Jesus and as a servant of God.

Join us to worship in English and experience God's love and peace with others. All are welcome to be part of our community!

Today, we celebrated Easter together at the English Spoken Mass. A time of joy, hope, and community! ✝️
This Mass, organized monthly by CCG in Diepenbeek, Rooierheide, brings people together from near and far to worship in English.
We reflected on the resurrection of Jesus—His victory over death and His unending love for each of us.
It was wonderful to celebrate this joyous day as one family in Christ.

Jesus is risen, He is alive! 🙌

Jesus knows what injustice and pain feel like. He was always kind and loving, never judging others. Yet He was betrayed by one of the apostles, Judas, and crucified.

He endured suffering, mockery, and humiliation—yet He chose forgiveness (Luke 23:34). Even in His painful, horrific final hours, He remained faithful to God. Even Jesus asked, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" Yet He trusted God's plan, knowing something greater would come.

God saw His pain and heard His prayers. He didn't intervene, because the outcome would be far greater. Jesus would rise from the grave and defeat death.

This is not just a story in the Bible, it is a testimony of God’s unending love. Death was not the end. Jesus rose from the grave - He is still alive! Through Him, we can have a personal relationship with God and can be forgiven for all our mistakes, small and huge.

The same way God heard Jesus' prayer, He hears yours. He sees your hurt and understands your pain. He is not distant, but near. He wants to be with you in both sorrow and joy.

Let Jesus' life and crucifixion inspire you. Open your heart to Him. Pray and ask for a sign. He listens and responds (Matthew 7:7-8). It may not be in the way or timing you want or expect, but His plan is greater! He is not done with you, so don't give up! 🫶

Een stevige wandeling van 33 km doorheen natuur en wijken met veel interessante gesprekken en ook een moment van stilte en bezinning. Our annual pilgrimage to Scherpenheuvel will take place from Friday night, April 24, through Saturday morning, April 25. It’s a challenging 33-kilometer walk through nature and neighborhoods, featuring many interesting conversations as well as moments of silence and reflection. Een uur van bezinning rond de kruiswoorden, die ons uitnodigen tot rust, reflectie en verdieping.

This Tuesday is the second Faithsharing of this semester! From 6pm to 7pm in the CCG room, we’ll take a moment together to slow down and reflect on the seven last words of Jesus.

An hour of contemplation centred on the last words, which invite us to find peace, reflect and deepen our understanding.

We hope to meet you there ☺️

Deze donderdag vindt er een studentenviering plaats in het CCG-lokaal van 18u tot 19u. De eerste van dit semester! Er is een mogelijkheid om vooraf te biechten. De viering zal ook in teken staan van de veertigdagentijd. We hopen jullie daar te zien!

This Thursday, the campus Mass will take place in our room from 6pm until 7pm. The first of this semester! And it will be marked by the season of Lent. You have the possibility for confession before the Mass. We hope to see you!

Komende dinsdag is er opnieuw een bronmoment. Deze keer wordt het ingevuld door een getuigenis van priester Elian, die enkele jaren geleden van Syrië naar België is gevlucht. Hij zal zijn verhaal met ons delen over zijn tocht naar God en als vluchteling waarin de Heer al die tijd zijn rots bleef.

Next Tuesday there will be our second Faithsharing. This time through a testimony. Father Elian fled from Syria to Belgium several years ago. He will share his story with us, focusing on the prominent role of the Lord. He is the Rock! 🫶

Deze donderdag zal onze eerste studentenviering van dit academiejaar plaatsvinden! De eucharistieviering zal voorgegaan worden door priester Elian. Er is een mogelijkheid om te biechten voor de viering, dit kan vanaf 17u.

Heb je nood aan een momentje met de Heer of ben je nieuwsgierig? Kom dan eens een studentenviering bijwonen!

This Thursday will be our first Campus Mass of this academic year! The Eucharist will be led by Father Elian. Before the celebration, there will be an opportunity for confession, starting at 5 p.m.
