The final flights on the Diamond Aircraft Da42 💎 take our students to some further away destinations such as Bremen 🇩🇪.
Here is where it all comes together: 📄flight preparation, ⏱️ instrument procedures, 🕹️managing the complex twin engined Da42, 🎙️coordinating with air traffic control, ⛽️ fuel management.
And the views 👀 above the clouds? ☁️ They are the reward 🎁

🛫 To be a pilot means to be away from home while others celebrate a birthday, to wake up while others are still asleep, to continue concentrating while others would be exhausted and ready to give up, to go through six-monthly exams and assessments while others are taking it easy, to form a new team every day while others enjoy the comfort of knowing who they work with.
✋Being a pilot is not for everyone.
💙 But for those who are ready to make sacrifices, put in the hard work and enjoy the challenge, we are there to train them.

🇧🇪 Welcome in OO-SKT! Skywing’s latest addition to the fleet: a Da42 VI Twin engine training aicraft that will eventually replace our older Twin Star, OO-SKW.

🤫 This newer generation aircraft is more performant but also a lot more silent than its predecessors. Therefor, the aircraft can be used for touch and go training in , a major advantage compared to older versions.

🌩️ The aircraft also has a weather radar, enabling it to better navigate en-route weather on longer flights, and enabling our students to learn how to operate this equipment as well.
