Ok young saxophone players: tell your teachers: if your low notes are not coming, it is not you, it is the saxophone🤟!(tell them Kurt told you!)
This Evette student model just has been renovated after 30 years or so in the school-closet; it plays easily in all registers now, cool little instrument!

A colleague of me is looking for a room to rent, to stay +-2 nights a week, during the academic year.He used to rent at my place, but I decided to use my space myself all the week from now on.
Has somebody a room to rent? He arrives late, and leaves early…is very clean, and does not disturb.
The rent in my place was 225 euro’s a month, and he is looking for something not too expensive (around 250 €).
It has to be in Brussels, in a neighborhood easy accessible by tram/metro.
He is working in the Royal conservatorium of Brussels.
IF you have some idea’s, don’t hesitate to let me know!
Thanks!

Another saxophone just arrived: i bought it from an older man in England, and promised him to find the correct new owner, and that the saxophone will be taken care of in the best possible way…
First I will give this instrument a good play-condition repair(it is in very good shape); then some candidates will come and test the instrument.
The instrument is a Martin the martin (committee 3), in very good shape; just a beauty!
If you would like to try it, I can put you on the list!

Went hunting a little bit on eBay USA, and came back with 2 C-melodies: a Buescher true tone, and a Conn New Wonder 2…if they arrive well (1 will be send without a saxophone case, but -i hope- in a decent box), this is gonna give us a lot of fun!

The art is in the details; and they take a lot of time;…but: gotcha!

Construction of a new body pip for a Selmer super action serie II; I had 2 of those instruments in the house, which allowed me to take the correct measurements. The instrument sounds really good with this new body pip; I will post a little video!
