A sustainable strategy cannot do without sustainable HRM. On Thursday 7 November, we welcome Tim Gielens. Tim is senior researcher sustainable HRM at the Center for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (CenSE), Odisee University of Applied Sciences. Prior to his career at Odisee, Tim was senior researcher at Antwerp Management School where he built up expertise in the field of sustainable careers, sustainable HRM, talent mobility, employee engagement, new ways of working, industrial relations and the future of jobs. Before starting his academic career, Tim gained experience in management consultancy for national and international organizations.

During the second module of our international Program Sustainable Management from Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 November, Katrien Rennemeier will be one of our business coaches. Katrien is senior CSR professional with more than 7 years’ experience in driving Corporate Social Responsibility, and closing the gap between Business -and - Human Rights. Katrien started her career in minority human rights with NGOs in developing countries, after which she lead a social-profit organisation aimed at fostering interculturality in Belgium.
In 2013 Katrien joined a CSR service provider and began working with large MNCs on CSR strategies, employee engagement, internal change management CSR communications. She then joined a global Pharma company where she developed topic experience in Public-Private- Partnerships and mastered the A-Z of GRI reporting. Hereafter Katrien became Senior Sustainability Advisor at the largest material handling & logistics company, conceptualizing, leading and driving Europe-wide projects and teams around a broad range of newly identified material topics ( circular economy, responsible purchasing, diversity & inclusion, corporate governance) Katrien was responsible for the company’s transition to comprehensive sustainability reporting in line with GRI Standards, and worked on C-suite buy in, internal change processes, internal and external communications etc.
Katrien holds a BA. International Relations & Politics, an MSc. Social & Cultural Anthropology and an MA. CSR & Responsible Management.
Today she works as an independent consultant with Companies, NGOs, Government and Academia, on a shared mission to ‘’ create a faire, more equal and human-centred future’’. Katrien follows closely the transition from ‘voluntary to legislative’ corporate responsibility in Europe, and aims one day to work in/ with developing countries and support them to hold MNCs accountable for their ESG impacts in these regions. She is Brussels based, but travels regularly and is open to interim assignments in London, SS Africa and SE Asia.

Lucía Ceja will be one of our international coaches during the International Program Sustainable Management. Lucía, PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology, is a master trainer of the VIA Character Strengths Premier method in Spain. This training program is designed to help executives and their employees discover their character strengths and use them to improve their lives and the lives of others, while enhancing organizational performance. She is a research associate in the Family-Owned Business Chair in IESE Business School and an active happiness consultant to members of the next generation in family-owned firms in Europe and Latin America. Throughout her professional career, she has received several international awards for her research & practice at the interface between the fields of Family-Owned Businesses and Positive Organizational Psychology.

A sustainable strategy cannot do without Responsible Marketing. Tine Faseur, researcher at KU Leuven is an expert on ‘Socially Responsible Marketing’ and ‘International Marketing’. Her research interests mainly focus on nonprofit marketing and fundraising, social marketing and sustainable consumer behavior.
