On 19 November 2025, CIEC organised a high-level pre-summit dialogue on AI and the Future of Job Markets in Brussels, ahead of the India–AI Impact Summit 2026.

The session brought together global experts and policy leaders, including Mr. Asim Anwar, Dr. Ramanand Nand, and Ms. Barbara Bouckaert, to highlight inclusive and future-ready approaches to work, skills, and labour markets in an AI-driven economy.

The Center for Indo-European Cooperation ( ), in collaboration with the Center of Policy Research and Governance ( ), convened the launch of the “State of AI in India” report in , a significant step toward advancing on emerging technologies between and .

The report was formally unveiled by Mr. Pankaj Phukan, First Secretary (Commerce), Embassy of India in Brussels, along with Aneesh Kannankara, Ravi Kaushik, and Dr. Ramanand, representing CIEC and CPRG.

The panel discussion that followed, featuring Ayush Gupta, Ravi Kaushik, and Dr. Ramanand Nand, explored critical themes including:

* India’s evolving ecosystem and regulatory landscape
* The importance of public–private partnerships in driving innovation
* Pathways for India–EU cooperation on and data sovereignty
* The broader implications of AI for the Global South

The evening concluded with an engaging dialogue and reception, reaffirming CIEC’s role in shaping inclusive, cross-regional conversations at the intersection of , , and .
