IMPACT RUN 💨 More than 120 sustainability experts joined us for a run (or a walk!) in the Forêt de Soignes 🌳 last Thursday to raise funds for The Shifters Belgium, discuss and connect with like minded individuals!

It was a great success! We had a lot of fun, caring and deep conversations.

Event organised by Tapio, Relieve Furniture and IMPACT VALLEY.

Lucky us! We’re working more and more on European projects!

Last week, we were in Rome with archaeological sites launching a project that will allow them to include their audiences and artists in creation processes to dynamise their institutions and attract a larger public that is no longer coming to archaeological sites.

Innovation, Sustainability, Reproducibility, and Human-centered approaches are de rigueur.

We’re happy and proud of our contribution to the AHEAD European project.

And Rome was stunning. ;-)

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀!🥳 Impact Valley will now gradually integrate Human Business (HU-BU) activities into our services as part of our exciting merger!

👀 What is Hu-Bu?

- A fantastic duo, Filip Van Mullem and Muriel De Vinck, supporting a more inclusive and circular society through Corporate Volunteering

- A network of +𝟮 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 across Belgium

- 2 purpose-driven activities: Solidarity Hands & Solidarity Pallets (the latter being unique in Belgium)

During 13 years, from Antwerpen to Arlon, 𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 have made a real impact, from cleaning rivers to painting shelters, crafting furniture from recycled pallets, and many more.

💥 Why merging?

Since 2017, the creation of IMPACT VALLEY, we have been closely connected to HU-BU, thanks to Filip, one of our shareholders, who believed in us, advised us and stood by us.

Our values align, and our teams connect on a human level.

We've already been working together on numerous projects (you may have already benefited from HU-BU's expertise working with us!).

Today, merging our activities makes sense more than ever; we are committed to supporting corporate partners in their holistic sustainability journeys.

How can we rethink the meeting format between Molenbeek job seekers and companies to generate sustainable and quality job placements? ⚖️

We organised 3 workshops following our 4D methodology for job seekers, employers, and associations to cocreate concrete solutions to this challenge.
We learned that: job desks are not always accessible to people that could do a really good job at it, in interviews the power balance is not to the advantage of the job seekers, which can be harmful to people's confidence, the unformal connection between associations and employers can lead to successful job placements, the reality of each sector is specific (they don't hire the same way) and a lot more.
The teams have developed solutions that are now being experimented with by Actiris.Stay tuned to learn more about the impact of such workshops. 🤸‍♀️
