Leadership is not about herding sheep. Unless, of course, it is. 🐑
Our Benelux team came together just before summer: To reconnect, reflect, and remind ourselves what we are here for: to enable wise and skillful organizational leadership, for people and the planet to thrive. Including these very patient sheep, and puppy!
Yes, we actually tried our hand at guiding these fantastic animals. And we needed our coaching skills... because sheep, too, need presence, space and direction to move forward.
Another (leadership) lesson learnt: make use of each other’s strengths. In this case, one border collie is 100x more effective at herding sheep than an entire group of people.

Last week, we organized a learning event for our newest associates in a gorgeous location in Rotterdam. We got to know each other, learnt from each other, and discussed the special “TPCL sauce”.

- how to translate leadership into daily behaviours

- first introduction to coaching

Yesterday, we delivered a great company-wide session in Brussels. We talked about shifting towards a new culture that’s supported by all levels, and how small daily actions will help them get there.
This is what the lead of the company said: “Thank you again for earlier today. Our whole staff was buzzing after this morning and our afternoon activities went super well! People were in a super positive mood and seemed excited about the future. We discussed not all the work is done but it’s an open door now so we just need to keep moving”
