📊 Latest helpline trends: Q2 2026

From April to June, 23 Insafe helplines in 22 countries handled over 15,700 contacts about online issues.

Key findings:
🔹 Cyberbullying is still the #1 reason for getting in touch (17.8%)
🔹 Most harms took place on messaging platforms (46.5%) and social media (39.7%)

Two-thirds of contacts came from children and young people, and nearly 3 in 10 came from parents.
