Moradokmai Theatre Community Homeschooling Team from Thailand is heading back towards Los Angeles. Landing on the 19th November in time for first show on the 20th and special 4 days engagements at various venues and Thai restaurants listing below, before departing back home.

Come catch the fun and the hype of the performances that already call for big smiley happy faces all over the United States. This trip we are featuring a team of young brass musicians/actors that will guaranteed to steal your heart.

เด็กๆแห่งโรงเรียนบ้านละครมรดกใหม่ จากปทุมธานี กำลังเดินทางและจะกลับมาแสดงในแคลิฟอร์เนียตอนใต้ ในวันที่ 20-23 พฤศจิกายนนี้

ตามมาชมให้กำลังใจเด็กๆ พบกับนักการละคร/และนักดนตรีกลุ่มเครื่องเป่าวัยเยาว์ที่จะมาเพิ่มเติมความสนุกสนานบันเทิงเริงใจให้กับพี่ป้าน้าอาในแคลิฟอร์เนีย ใครคิดถึงเด็กๆมาหามาสนุกด้วยกันนะคะ เที่ยวนี้มีน้องๆที่มาอเมริกาเป็นครั้งแรกสองคนค่ะ มีของดีมาอวดใหม่ๆด้วยค่ะ

The Moradokmai Community Theatre and Friends have won the Creative Equality Award at the CEA Awards 2025, hosted by the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), CEA, in Bangkok, Thailand. Their acclaimed stage production Girl with Big Eyes Died Yesterday was recognized for pioneering new possibilities of inclusivity in the performing arts.

The work is distinguished by its creation of a “new grammar of communication” that interweaves stage theatre, sign language, dance, radio drama, and multiple storytelling traditions. This innovative approach allows audiences of all kinds—including the hearing impaired, the visually impaired, and general theatre-goers—to share in the same artistic experience without barriers. It exemplifies how theatre can be reimagined as an inclusive space where difference is not an obstacle but a bridge.

Winning the Creative Equality Award marks a milestone not only for the troupe but also for Thai theatre on the international stage. It affirms that art can function as more than entertainment: it can be a powerful tool to promote equality, empathy, and shared understanding across diverse communities.
