Our colleagues, psychologists Kateřina Hašková and Petr Zámečník, will lead a webinar titled:
"Why Knowledge Alone Is Not Enough: Supporting Climate Change Education from the Perspective of Psychology"
👉 Organized by the University of Vienna, this webinar is open to researchers, students, and practitioners interested in climate change education. The webinar will take place on May 21st from 1:30-3:30 PM.
🔹 What will be covered?
The first part introduces the psychological and behavioural foundations of climate change education, showing that human decision-making is shaped not only by rational information, but also by identity, emotions, cognitive biases, and social norms.
🔸 The second part focuses on applied psychology, particularly school and vocational psychology, and explores key challenges in climate change education through interactive activities for participants.
