ELSA, also known as the European Law Students’ Association, is an international, apolitical, non-for profit, organization led by and for students. Our mission is to offer law students access to extracurricular activities allowing them to reach both personal and professional excellence. We offer them the ideal platform to develop their legal skills, acquire new ones and meet with law students and law practitioners all around Europe. We contribute to legal education, foster mutual understanding and promote social responsibility of law students and young lawyers. It’s an international community that already counts over 55.000 members across Europe! ELSA, autrement connu comme le European Law Students’ Association, est une organisation internationale, apolitique, sans but lucratif, gérée par et pour des étudiants. Notre mission est d’offrir aux étudiants en droit un accès à des activités extracurriculaires afin qu’ils puissent atteindre l’excellence tant personnelle que professionnelle. Nous leur offrons une plateforme idéale leur permettant de développer leurs compétences légales, en acquérir de nouvelles et de rencontrer d’autres étudiants en droit ainsi que des professionnels dans le domaine à travers toute l’Europe. Nous contribuons à l’éducation juridique, encourageons l’entente mutuelle et promouvons la responsabilité sociale des étudiants en droit ainsi que des jeunes avocats. C’est une communauté internationale qui compte d’ores et déjà plus de 55.000 membres à travers l’Europe!

Une année intense, riche en émotions, en projets et en rencontres.
Chaque moment a été porté par une équipe soudée et passionnée.

Merci à tous nos membres, partenaires et à cette communauté ELSA qui a fait vivre nos projets avec autant d’enthousiasme que nous. Merci à notre board pour cette énergie, ces fous rires, et cette détermination sans faille 💙

🇧🇪 Belgian Regional Round of the JHJMCC

Between 17 and 20 February, we had the privilege of organising the Belgian Regional Round of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, an initiative born out of the collaboration between ELSA Saint-Louis and ELSA Leuven, bringing together committed and highly motivated teams from all over the country.

Over the course of the Round, participants distinguished themselves through excellent pleading skills, thorough legal analysis, and a strong enthusiasm for international trade law, creating a truly stimulating and rewarding experience.

We would like to convey our sincere appreciation to our panelists for their time, dedication, and insightful feedback, all of which were instrumental in maintaining the high standards of the competition.

We are equally grateful to ELSA International, and in particular Inês and Austeja, for their ongoing support, trust, and smooth cooperation throughout the entire organisation process.

A special note of thanks goes to Théo Deswaef, Head of the Organising Committee, whose commitment, guidance, and continuous involvement were invaluable at every stage of this project.

We congratulate all teams for their remarkable efforts and look forward to following their journey in the upcoming rounds of the competition.💙💙💙
