In one week Tessura starts a new cycle of Somatic Movement Education (SME) ánd Infant Developmental Movement Education (IDME)-programs, with courses in Den Haag, Brussels and Antwerp.

As we are repeating several courses, you can start studying in Fall 2026 🍂 or Spring 🌾2027, and/or combine your studies with other Licensed Organizations of School for Body-Mind Centering!

We are excited and honoured for the teaching team which will come and visit Tessura during the next SME and IDME-cycle: Christian Meier, Eva Maes, Federica Antonelli, Ferenc Kálmán Olive Bieringa Otto Ramstad Tal Halevi Thomas Greil, Wilma Vesseur, as well as for the community of assistants and students arising.

All courses are in English with translation of individual terms or sentences into French and Dutch. Coursebooks are available in English or French

The conference will explore ecology in many forms — from our relationship with our own bodies and inner environments to our relationships with one another and the larger world around us.

Together, we’ll consider how ecology relates to the time we’re living in, how it might open pathways toward possible futures, and how ecological perspectives can inform our practices.

Tessura, an authorized organization of the School for Body-Mind Centering®, begins a new Somatic Movement Education Program (SME) and Infant Developmental Movement Education (IDME) Program cycle!
Courses will start this Fall in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Courses are taught in English, with translation of individual terms and sentences into French and Dutch. Many courses may be taken individually or as part of the full certification program.

Yesterday evening we concluded the first cycle of the School for Body-Mind Centering® Somatic Movement Education (SME), organized by Tessura: a beautiful celebration.
Some of the students received their SME certificates: CONGRATULATIONS! An ending to years of following interest, questions, passions, homework; and also a new beginning.

We are grateful for Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, who's deep passion and love for the language of movement and dance, has guided her to the development of a curriculum, which deeply cares for our inherent learning nature. A craftsmanship, an art, a seed... which we are committed to share and preserve in and for this world.

We never learn alone: thank you for the wide and diverse circle of students, teachers, assistants who have shared their time and experience over the course of this first SME-cycle organised by Tessura, and for the small encounters over the past year in and around what we will remain the 'Summer-home' for our courses: Forest Lighthouse, Brussels.

Tessura is preparing for the Summer courses (Ligamentous and Fascial, Fluid, Muscular System, and SME Competency/Prof. Dev1) at Forest Lighthouse. With these courses, we will conclude our first The School for Body-Mind Centering® Somatic Movement Education (SME) Program. We thank all students, assistants, teachers who make this possible to happen💗.

Tessura is happy to announce a new cycle of The School for Body-Mind Centering® Somatic Movement Education (SME) Program, as well as the start of The School for Body-Mind Centering® Infant Developmental Movement Education (IDME) and The School for Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner Program. We thank all who made it possible for this process to emerge...!
We look forwards to continuing offering these programs in Brussels, while some of the SME and IDME program courses will also be offered in Antwerp and Den Haag.
Registration for the current SME, new SME, IDME and Practitioner programs, as well as for the Introduction workshops (Thu June 25 2026, Den Haag and Sat, Sun Nov 7&8 2026, Antwerp), is open.
