π’ EfVET Annual Conference 2026 - Third Speaker Spotlight: Arja Flinkman π€
Our speaker spotlight series continues with Arja Flinkman, EfVET Vice President for Policy, Research and Publications, who will be moderating the session themed "Leadership in a fast-changing world: how to be up to the task with innovation?"
Education and training providers face real pressure: lack of funding, struggles with activitiesβ sustainability in the long-term, staff management and increased diversity of needs and approaches in classrooms. Arja will guide a conversation exploring how VET leaders keep their institutions thriving and forward-looking amid social, political and cultural transformation, with an eye on global development, citizenship and intercultural approaches.
As CEO of South Savo Education, Arja steers a vocational college through many of the same realities this session will unpack, and her career brings a well-rounded leadership perspective: from strategic and financial direction, to international affairs leadership and education development.
