Aperitivo Toastmasters - English/Italian Toastmasters Club

This week we held the last meeting of this TM year, a meeting full of friendship, 👬 warmth, personal stories, knowledge, fun✨ and food!!🍝

Congratulations to our 3 members who delivered their icebreaker speeches (2 new + 1 starting a new path)✌️ we look forward to listening to your next stories!! 😎

Thanks as always to our Dacia Toastmasters Club friends for the invaluable passion, values and interests that we share! 🤗

But the fun is not over! We will continue meeting over the summer 🌞 with some new friends. Stay tuned for more info!

Last Monday we had another great joint meeting😎: thanks again to the Dacia Toastmasters Club for the wonderful cooperation, we always have so much fun together!! 😀
Here is what we had:

🎭 A creative table topics session conducted by Mihaela, President of the Dacia Toastmasters Club;

🎤 A keynote speech by our VPM Simone on how to brilliantly face any interview. Here you have a couple of tips:
💡Ask someone who knows you well about your strengths
💡Tell a weakness you already tried to overcome
💡Ask questions related to your role and the company
With this speech Simone finished his path "Dynamic leadership": congratulations to him for this great achievement!! 🎉🎉👏

➡️ A speech by Emanuela who challenged us to try overcome the false myths we have about ourselves

🥂 Last but not least, our usual Italian aperitivo and the company of our guests!! 👬

This week we had a special meeting with:

✨ A panel discussion on Club Officers roles moderated by Giulia: current Club Officers described the main tasks but most of all highlighted the benefits received from taking on leadership roles ➡️ such as finding the dream job!! 😎

✨ An exciting Table Topics session conducted by Francesco in line with the theme of the evening proposed by our TME Simone: Personal Branding👌

✨ We also listened to Giulia going through her TM journey and we celebrated with her the successful completion of her Path Engaging Humour!!🎊 Congratulations to her for such an amazing journey!! 🎉

✨ Last bu not least, we enjoyed again an amazing Italian aperitivo 🍝 and the company of our guest Alexandra !

Our last meeting was as inspirational and fun as always!
🌺 We enjoyed again a fantastic homemade Aperitivo with risotto and lasagna 🤤
🌻We had a fun Table Topics session conducted by Fausto Carnevale and listened to our President Valentina deliver a speech on the beginning of a new project "Risotto and more"
🌼We reflected on the role of Mothers nowadays thanks to our TME Lucrezia Bove
🌷We enjoyed the company of our 2 guests! 👫

Our meeting last night was a blast!!😎

- We started with a fantastic Italian dinner🍝
- We had a fun discussion throughout the entire meeting on the topic "Men are from Mars♂️ and Women are from Venus♀️", especially during the Table Topics session conducted by our President Valentina
- We listened to 2 great prepared speeches delivered by Lucrezia, who gave us great communication tips on how to get out of conflicts✌️, and Francesco who delivered his ice-breaker about his passion for music🎶 and who told us about his amazing band FRA & 2 PI and their new album launched🎸

This week Aperitivo TM met online as the Easter holidays 🐇 were still ongoing for some of us, but the energy was as high as always!! ⚡

✨Thanks to our TME Chiara we discovered that in the Persian culture the 1st day of spring 🌼🌷 coincides with the beginning of the New Year
✨ We enjoyed a great TT 🗣️ session led by Simone Rossano
✨ We listened to 2 enriching speeches: 1 about lessons from motherhood 🤰delivered by Merope and the 2nd on the importance of personal interaction 🧑‍🤝‍🧑from Fausto Carnevale. Congratulations to our speakers for their outstanding work!!

So sang David Bowie. 👨‍🎤 And we all agreed with him on Monday during our last meeting:

✨Our TME Lucrezia brought us on a journey where we met imaginary and real heroes,🦸‍♀️ past and current ones, famous and ordinary but always exceptional.

✨Chiara and Emanuela gave their icebreaker speeches, 2 heroines for their courage and enthusiasm!! Bravo again to them!! 👏👏

✨Fausto was our TTM hero with his challenging and funny situations. Congrats to him and all the TT speakers!! 😎

The 2nd edition of our cooperation 🤝 with Bocconi Alumni Association in Brussels, which took place on Monday 13/2, was just mind-blowing!! 🤩💯

We had:
✅an exceptional speaker and trainer on storytelling
✅ amazing food
✅ never ending enthusiasm and energy from all the participants

- we learned from Valentina a great deal on what it means being a Division Director and that introverts can of course be great leaders too😎
