EVU is an organization/network which promotes adoption and perservance of electric mobility around the globe. Rune Haaland founded the EVU September 2011.
EVU is a global movement with dedicated and innovative business actors, enthusiasts, EV associations, NGOs and other stakeholders with a mission to electrify mobility with clean and renewable energy. EVU is registered as a non-profit foundation in Norway with an external Board of Directors, Mr. Knut Eide and Børre Hannisdal. The Directors operate in close cooperation with Lester Brown and Earth Policy Institute in Washington.

Norway will get a new majority government next week, strengthening the unique EV policy. For political parties have signed an agreement today that ensure stability for EV policy development untill the next parliament election autumn 2021. 1/3 of all new cars in Norway was electric in 2018. The only issue delaying the uptake of EVs is limited numbers of EVs available. More than 40 000 norwegians are waiting for their new EV and even more are considering to change from diesel/petrol to renewable electricity next time they purchase a new car.
