The idea began as a trial in a few neighborhoods, replacing commercial posters with open-access mini libraries. Soon, benches were redesigned with side compartments for novels and poetry, donated by locals or rotated by libraries weekly.

Passengers say it changed the rhythm of their day — phones down, minds calmer. Some even coordinate book drops like secret handoffs. Kids get picture books, and seniors leave handwritten notes in the margins.

Morning waits are no longer idle — they’re chapters long.
