Hello everyone!
As a part of my end-of-year thesis in environmental geography, I am investigating social inequalities in access to alternative and sustainable food. My study focuses mainly on the Brussels-Capital Region.
Because this is research focused on the views of Brussels consumers, your opinion is indispensable to me. It takes a maximum of ten minutes, it's confidential and it would help me enormously in my research! It's in French but the questions are quite simple. Don't hesitate to share 🙂 thanksss merciii

With Temperatures Rising, Can Animals Survive the Heat Stress? 10/05/2020

“If the climate warms a little more, things don’t get a little different, they get very different,”

With Temperatures Rising, Can Animals Survive the Heat Stress? A growing number of studies show that warming temperatures are increasing mortality in creatures ranging from birds in the Mojave Desert, to mammals in Australia, to bumblebees in North America. Researchers warn that heat stress could become a major factor in future extinctions.

‘We Need to Hear These Poor Trees Scream’: Unchecked Global Warming Means Big Trouble for Forests 26/04/2020

"At the current pace of warming, much of the world will be inhospitable to forests as we know them within decades...

The way we exploit our planet and we interact with our natural environment in unregulated ways today is causing damage both to our planet, our health and our economy.

In the current times of crisis, S4C therefore urges for a new beginning starting NOW; new politics which prioritize the well-being of people over profit, a new society which is sustainable, inclusive, socially just and climate neutral.

In order to avoid future crises, it's our responsibility to contest business as usual and demand ambitious, structural change in the way we organize our economy, our health system and our society as a whole.
