1/ contribute to addressing the devastating consequences that poverty, low wages & rampant inequality are having on people and the world’s ambition to achieve sustainable development.

2/ are first and foremost a FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT. Govs have a responsibility to ensure the realisation of this right by enforcing adequate & preventing downward competition on the basis of low wages and labour costs.

3/ It's critical to close loopholes in legislation that exclude vulnerable categories of workers, like domestic & agricultural workers, and address the issue of widespread non-compliance. The must be respected!

4/ Beyond , plays a crucial role in setting fair pay standards at the company & sectoral level & must be encouraged at all levels. Hence, is a fundamental right that must be respected!

5/ Companies have a responsibility to pay a that allows workers and their families a life in dignity. This goes hand in hand with efforts to ensure equal pay, as women are disproportionately represented in low-paid work.

6/ Last but not least! must take into account the & be grounded in social dialogue. Moreover, living wages should be an integral part of efforts by companies.
