Did you know? 💡 Our Product & Digital Design course is about much more than creating fun projects: take this board game challenge, for example! Our MYP students didn’t just design a game, they learned how to investigate a design challenge, develop creative solutions, and test and improve their ideas using the design cycle.
By working through and thinking about each stage of the process, students build creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and resilience while bringing their ideas to life. They discover that great designs don’t happen on the first try; they come from asking questions, experimenting, and learning from feedback. Learning by doing is one of the best ways to prepare students for the future! ✨

At MIS, every student takes on the challenge of the IB Diploma Programme. This year, our Class of 2026 carried on the tradition of academic achievement with an eighth consecutive year of an average score above the world average, and 65% of students earning bilingual diplomas - including Advanced Bilingual Diplomas, offered only at our school in Brussels. 🌟

Graduation ceremonies at MIS are a different kind of special.
In a community like ours, teachers don’t just know their students’ names. They know their stories, their strengths, their challenges, and the dreams they’ve worked toward. Every achievement is personal because every student is known.
Over the years, classmates become lifelong friends, and families become part of one another’s lives. School events turn into reunions, familiar faces fill every seat, and every success is celebrated by an entire community.
As we watched our graduates cross the stage, there was pride, gratitude, and more than a few tears. While we are excited for all that lies ahead, the event was also a reminder of how much these students have meant to our school and to each other.

When magnesium meets oxygen… sparks fly!
MYP4 students observe how magnesium reacts and oxidizes as it forms magnesium oxide. At MIS, we do chemistry you can actually see and our students grow as inquirers and thinkers through hands-on investigation!👩🔬
