The reviews are in: our MYP productions were a dramatic success!

At the end of April, our MYP students took to the stage and proved that the show must go on! MYP1–3 had us all “breaking free” with two fantastic performances of High School Musical, bringing energy, confidence, and plenty of Wildcats spirit to the stage. 🎤⭐

Meanwhile, MYP4 tackled the timeless question, “To be or not to be?” in a powerful production of Hamlet, while MYP5 brought courage, conviction, and drama to life in Antigone! From basketball courts to Danish castles to the streets of ancient Thebes, our students showcased an incredible range of talent. Whether singing, acting, or delivering some of literature’s most iconic lines, they truly stole the spotlight.

These performances were the result of months of dedication, creativity, and teamwork behind the scenes and on the stage. We couldn’t be prouder of every student who helped bring these stories to life.

Bravo to our cast, crew, and teachers for proving that all the world’s a stage, and what a stage it was! 👏

When magnesium meets oxygen… sparks fly!

MYP4 students observe how magnesium reacts and oxidizes as it forms magnesium oxide. At MIS, we do chemistry you can actually see and our students grow as inquirers and thinkers through hands-on investigation!👩‍🔬

After an exciting Pi competition, our MYP winners had the chance to pie some of our teachers (yes… it got messy!) They also went home with a delicious pie and a fun math gift to celebrate!

Who knew memorizing digits of π could be this rewarding? 😂

Snow day magic in Brussels paired with traditional Canadian snow games organized by Mr. Macleod, MIS Assistant Head of School & MYP Coordinator! 🇧🇪❄️🇨🇦

Students turned fresh snowfall into full-on winter fun playing Pie Tag, Snow Darts, and Capture the Flag in the iconic Cinquantenaire Park - a stones throw from our school!
