Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door! 🌿

At BEPS, we believe outdoor learning is valuable at every age - encouraging curiosity, creativity, teamwork and a different way of seeing the world.

Our Early Years children certainly take it seriously! 🌱☀️

We kicked off the year bringing our DP & CP students together for collaboration, team-building, and positive vibes! ✨

A big highlight was our student-led welcome from Alisa and Maria. "Stay open-minded and take this opportunity to connect with others." 💙

From QiGong, Bingo icebreakers, Building bridges in Brussels to the launch of our MasterChef competition 🍳 what a way to start the year!

Our Primary students had a fun and active day putting teamwork, communication, trust and problem-solving into action! 💪

Working in mixed teams, they took on a series of challenges including relays, silent line-ups, blind guiding, ball transport, tower building and The Floor Is Lava! 🏃‍♀️🧠

The goal wasn’t just to be the fastest - it was to listen, cooperate, encourage one another and make sure everyone had a role. ❤️

A fantastic day of learning, laughter and teamwork! 🌟

Our MYP2 & 3 students have embraced new challenges during their Surf camp.

From exploring Rotterdam and settling into camp in Ouddorp to taking on a thrilling water jump, story telling around the campfire and meeting baby goats at a local farm. 🐐

Despite changing weather conditions, they showed courage, adaptability and resilience, supporting and encouraging one another every step of the way.

The adventure continues! 🌟

Last week our Year 1 children enjoyed the sunny weather in the woods! 🌳☀️

They had lots of fun with silly mud painting! The children enjoyed using sticks, leaves, and natural materials to make their own muddy masterpieces. 🎨🪵🍂

Our Early Years children have been busy exploring their new IEYC unit, “Healthy Habits”! 🧘‍♀️🥦🧠

They kicked off the unit with a fun and engaging Entry Point, including Outdoor Yoga sessions, a Healthy Foods Centre and even a Cognitive Training Centre! 🌳✨

Throughout the week, the children have enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities as they discovered more about their bodies, how they work, and the names of different body parts. 👀👂🖐️🦶

A wonderful week of learning, moving, discovering and having fun! 💙

As part of our Secondary Transition process, our Year 6 students had a fantastic time interviewing our new MYP1 students! 🎤

They chatted about their first experiences of Secondary School, discovering what they are enjoying, what they have found new or challenging, and, most importantly, hearing their top tips for making the transition successfully. 💬✨

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to share experiences, learn from one another and remind our new MYP1 students that they are part of a supportive community every step of the way. 💙

It was such a pleasure to welcome some of our BEPS alumni back to school today! 🎓💙

Having been part of the BEPS community from 2007 to 2011, Adrian and Marcel are now back in Brussels to continue their studies at ULB and KUL. It was wonderful to see them again, hear about their journeys and welcome them back to where part of their educational journey began.

They were happy to see how BEPS has developed over the years, while also recognising familiar faces and reconnecting with some of their former teachers. 😊

Once part of the BEPS family, always part of the BEPS family! 💙

The BEPS community gathered at the start of this new school year for our traditional ‘Welcome back picnic’ 🧺 : an opportunity to mingle, share food and welcome our new BEPS families ! 🙌☀️🫶

It was wonderful to see so many of our parents at our Meet the Teachers event! 💙

These moments are a valuable opportunity for families to learn more about the curriculum, what their children will experience throughout the school year, and the personalised approach that makes BEPS so special.

At BEPS, we believe that every child is unique. Working closely with our families allows us to better understand and support each student on their individual learning journey.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us and helped make the event such a success! ✨
