What an incredible Summer Fair! 🌍⚽
This year’s World Cup theme brought fantastic energy, excitement, and community spirit to the entire day. From fun games and activities to delicious food, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy.
The atmosphere was full of laughter, friendly competition, and smiling faces everywhere you looked. It was wonderful to see our community come together, celebrate, and create such special memories.🥰
Adding to the festive spirit, proceeds from the raffle will go towards supporting Ekho Sport, an association that raises awareness about disability and deafness in a fun, participatory, and positive way, helping to promote inclusion from an early age. 🤩
A huge thank you to our PTA and to everyone who helped organize, participate in, and support the event - you made the day truly special. Another unforgettable Summer Fair at BEPS! ☀️🎉

The French Ab initio DP1 students traded the classroom for the garden and what a perfect day for it!
They played pétanque, one of France's most beloved pastimes, under the most gorgeous blue sky. Between throws, we talked about the game's origins, its vocabulary, and yes, the very French art of arguing about whose boule is closest ✨
Learning a language is also learning a culture and nothing beats experiencing it firsthand. We think a few future champions may have been discovered today!
📍 À vos marques, prêts, lancez !

Science comes alive when students can see it, touch it, build it, test it, and question it.
From MYP1 to DP, whether they are exploring microorganisms, investigating gears, or tackling engineering concepts, hands-on learning helps ideas make sense.
When students actively engage with science, curiosity grows, connections are made, and learning becomes meaningful. Concepts move beyond the textbook and become real-world experiences that students can understand and remember.
At BEPS, we believe that learning is most powerful when students are doing, exploring, creating, and discovering for themselves. That's what science education should be: challenging, engaging, relevant -and above all, fun.

Our Early Years children are continuing to explore stories through their “Once Upon a Time” unit, linked to farm animals. After the excitement of a real tractor visiting our school, the children were inspired to create their own tractor for the role play corner! 🚜🐄🐴
They love pretending to be farmers - braiding a horse’s tail, milking cows, and pretending to be farm animals...
Pretend play is very important as it helps children develop creativity, language, confidence, social skills, and understanding of the world around them through imaginative experiences. ✨

Another Year 6 Exhibition, another great success! 🤩
Over the past weeks, our Year 6 students have explored a wide range of fascinating topics, from imagining life without transport, investigating healthy food choices, researching girls' and boys' rights, astrology, to the skills of a pro footballer, story writing in the age of AI, a vision of the future in 2050 and many other important global issues. 😊
We were truly impressed by the depth of their knowledge, the quality of their research, and their ability to communicate their learning with confidence and enthusiasm. The exhibition showcased not only what our students have learned, but also the curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity they have developed throughout the process.
A huge congratulations to all of our Year 6 students for their hard work and dedication, and thank you to the teachers, mentors, and families who supported them along the way.🥰
We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to seeing them continue their learning journey in Secondary.

As part of their Community Engagement programme, our CP students planned and delivered a mini sports day, introducing their peers to a range of sports available locally in Brussels, including netball, boxing, pilates, self-defence, and rugby.💪🏉🥊
It was wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, learning new skills, and supporting one another throughout the day.
A huge congratulations and thank you to our CP students for their creativity, organisation, and enthusiasm in making the event such a success!

Last week, students from Years 3 to 6 proudly represented our school at a football tournament hosted by ⚽
Throughout the day, our students showcased not only their football skills but also important values such as teamwork, respect, resilience, and collaboration. We were especially proud to see our Year 3 and Year 4 team win the final of their division against Bogaerts North Campus! Meanwhile, our Year 5 and Year 6 team put in a strong performance, finishing in 4th place after competing against the International School of Leuven.
The tournament also brought together students from International School of Flanders (ISF Waterloo), British International School of Brussels, and Montgomery International School, creating a fantastic atmosphere of friendly competition and sportsmanship.
Congratulations to all our players for their enthusiasm, effort, and excellent representation of our school. We had a wonderful day and are already looking forward to the next sporting event! 🎉🏆⚽

As part of their current unit on environmental preservation, the MYP2/3 French Language Acquisition class enjoyed a wonderful day at the Meise Botanic Garden. 🌿
They took part in a workshop exploring different greenhouse ecosystems, including tropical, subtropical, desert, and Mediterranean environments. Students investigated their assigned zones and shared their discoveries with the rest of the group.
They then enjoyed a picnic in the garden and spent the afternoon exploring trees, flowers, and even taking a raft trip to a small island.
A great day of learning and discovery in nature! 🌱🌍✨
