What does it really mean to complete the QTEM Data Challenge?

For these five finalist students, it meant much more than simply ticking a box in their QTEM journey.

It was an opportunity to learn, challenge themselves, discover more about the world of luxury through expert insights from Cartier, and gain an experience they’ll carry with them into their careers.

We asked them to share their experience — what they learned, what surprised them, and what the QDC meant to them personally.

📣 QTEM members highlighted in the Financial times!

The latest Financial Times Masters in Finance Ranking reinforces the quality of the QTEM program. Six QTEM Academic Partners are represented in the list of leading masters in Finance:

EDHEC Business School, Luiss Guido Carli HEC Lausanne FEP Faculdade de Economia e Gestão da Universidade do Porto, University of Exeter Business School and UPF Barcelona School of Management.

Also seven Schools are listed by the same media as the top in Europe:

14 years ago, a group of crazy, adventurous academics decided to take a bold step: build a network of universities committed to developing the next generation of quantitative minds. It all started with 5 Universities.

Today, QTEM brings together more than 20 universities — and counting. 🚀
What started as a bold idea has grown into a truly international academic community, connecting students, academics, and industry around a shared passion for quantitative skills.

A huge thank you to the first courageous leaders who believed in the idea and helped shape QTEM into what it is today: Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Didier Viviers, Thomas von Ungern, Andreas Hackethal, Feite Van Dijk, Han van Dissel, and Laurent Gheeraert between many first supporters.

The Fondation Bernheim also played a pivotal role in making the project possible, believing in the vision and providing the generous funding that enabled QTEM to launch.

Our gratitude also goes to all the academics and staff who turned the vision into reality and have continued to build QTEM over the years.

And above all, to our students (QTEM Student Association) and alumni— especially those who believed in QTEM and took a chance on it when it was just beginning. Without their trust, ambition, and curiosity, QTEM would not be what it is today.

14 years ago, a group of crazy, adventurous academics decided to take a bold step: build a network of universities committed to developing the next generation of quantitative minds. It all started with 5 Universities.

The webinar, coordinated by QTEM Data Analytics, Innovation & Learning Manager, Vittorio Maio, gave students the opportunity to learn more about the soft and hard skills courses available throughout the programme.

Students also had the chance to ask questions and discover more about the new QDC Challenge, a great opportunity to put their skills into practice and tackle real-world challenges.
