I would like to thank Kent County Council for inviting me to deliver a 2 hour in-person workshop to forensic social workers last week.
We covered a range of topics related to Autistic experience including: Mental health, transitioning between inpatient and outpatient services, gender and sexuality, co-occurring conditions, su***de prevention and harm reduction in Autistic populations.
It was an honour to facilitate in-depth and meaningful discussion around how to improve services for Autistic people, especially those detained in mental health hospitals.

I wanted to share some fantastic feedback I received recently after the Autistic parents UK webinar where I talked about the Autistic Language Hypothesis.
(permission was given for me to share).
The comments say:
“I really enjoyed the talk about communication”
“This was super insightful, and explained so much of the miscommunication and difference that I experienced, and didn’t understand why.”
