Our Programming for Prevention course is now open for registration!
This free, facilitated course supports practitioners in making thoughtful, strategic decisions at every stage of the programme journey, from understanding context and envisioning change, to planning, experimenting, and learning.

It is designed for programme managers, technical advisors, MEL consultants, and decision-makers working in VAW prevention who are ready to reflect on and strengthen their practice.

🚀 Turning brilliant ideas into real-world impact!

On 12 June, our colleague Jean Grasmeijer participated in the conference "From Ideas to Impact: Celebrating Six Years of COST Innovators Grants", organised by COST - European Cooperation in Science and Technology.

🗣She presented work related to the implementation and further development of the Quality Assurance Protocol, contributing to the dissemination of the approach among new audiences and stakeholders, as an example of good practices.

The conference gathered all projects awarded under the CIG scheme since 2020 to highlight their core objectives, key results, and overall impact on beneficiaries, alongside their strategic plans for the future.
Furthermore, the conference program featured presentations from EIT Jumpstarter innovators and a closing round table dedicated to discussing the way forward, exploring how networks can ensure their sustainability, as well as assessing how the CIG scheme contributed to achieving each project’s objectives.

📢Continuing the implementation of the Quality Assurance Protocol in Spain: Conference "Quality Family Support in Positive Parenting"

🗓️ On 11th June a large national meeting was held in Spain within the framework of P+Garant[IA] to continue the implementation of the Quality Assurance Protocol in this country.

👥🤝The meeting brought together a wide range of stakeholders and focused on identifying improvement actions and developing a roadmap for future work.

Our colleague Joana Schima from .makemothermatter participated in the meeting, providing a European perspective and helping to situate these developments within the broader European context of and quality assurance.

🔄This is an example of how the work initiated within EurofamNet continues to support service development and quality improvement in practice at the national level, while also resonating at the European level.

Next Tuesday, our Head of Research Başak Yavçan will join a roundtable at the European Parliament to discuss the stubborn gap 🤷🏽‍♀️ in the meaningful participation of migrant and refugee women in EU decision-making, and what we can all do about it.

The event is co-hosted by MEP Anna Strolenberg (Volt/Greens-EFA) and organised by the New Women Connectors. Başak will present the latest Migrant Integration Policy Index political participation data and give examples of policies that enable migrant women’s participation. We can’t wait to exchange with migrant women leaders, civil society, and policymakers - come join us, the places are limited!
