After a concert, a woman rushed up to the great violinist Fritz Kreisler and gushed,
“Td give my whole life to play as beautifully as you do.”
Kreisler replied,

Expo's, een postzegel en een hoofdrol voor de cello: jubileumeditie Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd van start | VRT NWS Nieuws In Flagey start vandaag de 1e ronde van de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd voor cello. De wedstrijd bestaat 75 jaar en zowel koningin Elisabeth als de beroemde cellist Pablo Casals, met wie ze goed bevriend was, werden 150 jaar geleden geboren. Ronde getallen en dus wordt het een jubileumeditie. Dat er....
