👀 In my master project I explore the link between being “on the move”, or traveling, and the experience of theatre. I look at the in-between space that emerges from this: the space between beginning and end, between departure and arrival. I investigate the boundary between participation and distance, and between reality and imagination.

👀 Cosette is a Canadian born set and costume designer now living in Brussels. She completed her bachelors in costume and set design at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, Australia. She is drawn to psychologically driven costume design and storytelling. Cosette has an acute love of cinema; particularly the work of directors like Peter Greenaway, David Lynch, Luis Buñuel, Ken Russell and Lars Von Trier. Her dream is to collaborate closely with directors to create immersive visual worlds, and work that is bigger than herself.

👀 Emely Laame (°Brussels, 2002) likes to take inspiration from day to day life, exploring aspects of the human condition. It often takes a childish form, such as loud colours or recognisable shapes, making hard-to-put-into-words concepts explainable and accessible to the public.
Her master project is not different. This year, she looks into how one can practice love in order to prepare oneself for being loved.
