👋 Bienvenue sur le compte officiel Facebook du Lycée Français International d’Anvers. Le Lycée accueille des élèves de 3 à 18 ans.

Le LFI Anvers est le seul établissement à Anvers qui permet de suivre une scolarité en plusieurs langues aux élèves de 3 à 11 ans. Le Lycée français International propose un enseignement conforme à l’exigence des programmes de l’Education nationale française et est conventionné avec l'Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Etranger (AEFE). L’établissement permet de suivre une scolarité sans rupture, de la maternelle au baccalauréat avec des possibilités de passerelles dans les autres établissements français mais également dans les établissements néerlandophones et francophones de Belgique. HISTOIRE

Le Lycée français international d’Anvers était, lors de sa fondation, en 1901, un établissement belge d’enseignement francophone connu sous le nom d’Institut Rochez. L’établissement a ensuite évolué dans le cadre de la refonte de l’enseignement belge au cours des années 1970. Dans les années 2000 le lycée francophone devient le Lycée français International d’Anvers. Il est alors conventionné à l’Agence pour l’enseignement du français à l’étranger qui assure la coordination de 460 établissements francophones à travers le monde. Comptant aujourd’hui environ 130 élèves le Lycée a mené un large travail pour renforcer son internationalisation et son inscription territoriale en mettant l’accent notamment sur le développement de parcours bilingues français-flamand et français-anglais.

Sports Club Day 🏈

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Today, our students and teachers proudly wore their sports club shirts to school as part of the - Bring Your Sports Club to School initiative taking place across Flanders this month! 👕🎽
It was a fantastic way to showcase the wide variety of sports clubs in our region and celebrate the many ways our students stay active.
Most importantly, we hope it inspires even more children to discover a sport they love, get active and join in the fun! 💪😊
A big thank you to all our students for proudly representing their clubs! 🙌

Aujourd’hui, nos élèves ont fièrement porté les maillots de leurs clubs sportifs à l’école dans le cadre de l’initiative Amène ton club de sport à l’école !, organisée dans toute la Flandre ce mois-ci ! 👕🎽
Une belle façon de mettre en valeur la grande diversité des clubs sportifs de notre région et de célébrer les nombreuses façons dont nos élèves restent actifs.
Surtout, nous espérons que cette initiative encouragera encore plus d’enfants à découvrir un sport qu’ils aiment, à bouger et à prendre plaisir à pratiquer une activité sportive ! 💪😊

Vandaag droegen onze leerlingen trots de shirts van hun sportclubs naar school in het kader van de actie Breng je sportclub naar school!, die deze maand in heel Vlaanderen plaatsvindt! 👕🎽
Een leuke manier om de grote diversiteit aan sportclubs in onze regio in de kijker te zetten en te vieren hoe onze leerlingen actief blijven.
Bovenal hopen we dat deze actie nog meer kinderen inspireert om een sport te ontdekken die ze leuk vinden, actief te blijven en plezier te beleven aan sport! 💪😊

Today we had a surprise visit from Miss Muriel, who came along to help out in our school library.
Students were very excited to see the familiar face, who has been a big part of LFIA and our community for many years ❤️

Aujourd’hui, nous avons eu la surprise de recevoir la visite de Miss Muriel, venue nous aider dans la bibliothèque de notre école.

Les élèves étaient très heureux de retrouver ce visage familier, qui fait partie intégrante de LFIA et de notre communauté depuis de nombreuses années ❤️

Vandaag kregen we onverwacht bezoek van juf Muriel, die ons kwam helpen in de schoolbibliotheek.

De leerlingen waren ontzettend blij om een vertrouwd gezicht terug te zien. Muriel maakt al vele jaren deel uit van LFIA en onze schoolgemeenschap ❤️

🎓 Exploring Student Life & Well-Being at LFIA 🌍

As part of their Global Perspectives project, our High School students are taking a closer look at an important question: What makes student life at school a positive and fulfilling experience?

As part of their University Skills learning, students in 3eme are exploring the priorities, habits and experiences that shape everyday school life. They are conducting interviews with fellow students, teachers and even our Director, Mrs Sebastiao, gathering different perspectives along the way. 🗣️
Their questions go beyond simply understanding student life — they are asking how we can make meaningful changes to create an even better school environment, one that supports students' happiness, engagement and overall well-being. 💚
It’s wonderful to see our students taking an active role in understanding their community and thinking creatively about how they can contribute to making LFIA an even better place to learn, grow and thrive! 🌱✨

🎓 À la découverte de la vie des élèves et de leur bien-être à la LFIA 🌍

Dans le cadre de leurs projets de Global Perspectives et de University Skills, nos élèves de 3ème s’intéressent de plus près à la vie scolaire à la LFIA, en explorant les priorités, les habitudes et les facteurs qui contribuent au bien-être de chacun.
À travers des interviews avec des élèves, des enseignants et notre Directrice, Mme Sebastiao, ils recueillent différents points de vue autour d’une question importante : Comment pouvons-nous améliorer encore davantage la vie des élèves ? 🗣️💚

In het kader van hun projecten Global Perspectives en University Skills verdiepen onze leerlingen van het 3ème zich in het schoolleven bij LFIA. Ze onderzoeken de prioriteiten, gewoontes en factoren die bijdragen aan het welzijn van leerlingen.
Via interviews met leerlingen, leerkrachten en onze directrice, mevrouw Sebastiao, verzamelen ze verschillende perspectieven rond een belangrijke vraag: Hoe kunnen we het leven op school nog beter maken? 🗣️💚

🍂 Autumn has finally arrived here at LFIA! 🍁

Our students are still enjoying the last of the warm summer sunshine, while nature around us is slowly beginning to change in our beautiful, leafy outdoor environment. 🌳☀️

In Maternelle, our little learners have been discovering the changing colours of the leaves, which fits perfectly with our current topic of Colours! 🎨🍂 They are exploring the beautiful crimsons, golden yellows, warm oranges and all the other wonderful autumnal shades appearing around us.
What a lovely way to learn — by observing, exploring and enjoying the changing season right on our doorstep! ❤️

🍂 L’automne est enfin arrivé à la LFIA ! 🍁

Nos élèves profitent encore des derniers rayons chaleureux du soleil d’été, tandis que la nature commence doucement à changer dans notre magnifique environnement extérieur verdoyant. 🌳☀️
En Maternelle, nos petits apprenants découvrent les couleurs changeantes des feuilles, ce qui s’intègre parfaitement à notre thème actuel sur les couleurs ! 🎨🍂

🍂 De herfst is eindelijk aangekomen bij LFIA! 🍁

Onze leerlingen genieten nog van de laatste warme zonnestralen van de zomer, terwijl de natuur rondom ons langzaam begint te veranderen in onze prachtige, groene buitenomgeving. 🌳☀️
In de Maternelle ontdekken onze kleine leerlingen de veranderende kleuren van de bladeren. Dat sluit perfect aan bij ons huidige thema Kleuren! 🎨🍂

Our students have started a new topic all about colours! Over the coming weeks, they’ll be learning, experimenting with colour mixing, creating, and exploring through lots of exciting activities. 🎨🖌️

They’ll also be discovering how nature changes colour as autumn approaches, with beautiful shades beginning to appear all around us. 🍂🍁
