The numbers reveal interesting insights on what and where startups are building. With a record breaking 613 applications and an increase of 48% with last year.

Here is how the numbers break down across our ecosystem:

𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨?
- Brussels takes the lead with 183 applications.
- Antwerp stays red-hot with 137.
- Ghent brings heavy momentum with 121.
- Leuven (62), Kortrijk (27), Hasselt (26), Louvain-la-Neuve (26), Liège (21), and Charleroi (10) demonstrate that innovation & entrepreneurship are found throughout Belgium.
In the Walloon area, we notice a growth of 12% year over year.

𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳?
- B2B dominates the room with 472 teams (over 77% solving core enterprise pain points).
- B2C steps up with 141 ambitious consumer teams.
