Michael Shanks kicks off Tracing Creation!
This week, Tim Etchells is presenting four videos at the Kaaitheater in Brussels, as part of BURNING ICE #9, an event that brings together artists, scientists and theorists to address one of today’s most pressing questions: how human inventions change the environment and have an impact that is often unpredictable. The videos of Etchells that are on display give an idea of his imaginative use of text, performance, and image.
You can also discover this during “Tracing Creation.” Etchells will be showing his solo performance “A Broadcast / Looping Pieces” on Wednesday 10 March at 8 pm, while he is also giving a keynote lecture the next day at 10 am. A double-bill to look forward to!
