Do you write daily?

A journal is like a star log of your life.

Frida Kahlo had one, Michaelangelo too, and Basquiat, of course.

Keep your journal simple to start.

Enter the date and the weather. Who did you see and meet? What did you do? Note what you are busy with. State how you felt. You can sketch if you like to draw. Doodle. Just note the highlights of the day, your concerns, and notes of your activities.

Mark the date. Do this for a year. Read back the passages as time progresses.

Then you will see that writing is a magical experience.

How many are there?

According to the latest research, there are 293 known writing systems in the world, living or historical.

This beautiful website shows the letters of the world’s writing systems. It is a great initiative by Missing Scripts Project that wishes to identify , which are not yet encoded in the Unicode standard. So far, only 131 scripts have not been encoded in Unicode. Hopefully, all of them can be inputted by your computer keyboard in the future.
