We are looking forward to publish a second book in the coming months which will be focussed on a specific region in Hungary. The WIJHA has been created in order to contribute to the ongoing rejuvenation of interest in the Hungarian speaking roots of part of the Global Jewish Diaspora and to help revitalise in the present its connection with the past.
An organisation for those interested in Hungarian speaking Jewish ancestry and family history.

To ensure the rich Hungarian 🇭🇺, Jewish ✡️ heritage is documented and treasured for generations to come, the World Institute for Jewish Hungarian Ancestry (WIJHA) was established. The goal of the institute is to continue building the collective memory of Hungarian Jewry as well as Jewish communities throughout the world. The WIJHA will serve as a meeting point for Jews across the globe to reconnect with and explore their Hungarian ancestry.
