The farm trip is always a favourite with our youngest students! 🐴🐐🐰
As a special end-of-year adventure, our students spend the day meeting and caring for animals, riding horses, and exploring life on a farm.
Beyond the excitement, experiences like these help children develop empathy, responsibility, and respect for animals and nature. They also encourage curiosity, confidence, and hands-on learning outside the classroom.

Last week, the school hosted the annual BENELUX Cup! This yearly football tournament brings together schools from across the Benelux region to compete in friendly and exciting matches.
As always, the event was a great success, and our students thoroughly enjoyed participating, despite the weather not being on our side this year. We are incredibly proud of our students and those from the visiting schools for competing fairly, supporting one another, and demonstrating outstanding team spirit throughout the tournament.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a memorable experience! - Middenschool Den Brandt GO , , , & École Internationale de Mondorf-les-Bains.

A special thank you to all the parents who helped with the setup and pack-down. Your support and hard work were greatly appreciated and helped make the day such a memorable event for everyone!

Class 8 visited Fort Breendonk (.breendonk) and Kazerne Dossin () this week, exploring two significant World War II memorial sites. The experience offered a powerful and confronting insight into life during the occupation and the persecution of Jews, Roma, and Sinti. It was a heavy but important trip that encouraged reflection and helped students connect history to the world today.

At ISBe, we host parent–teacher conferences where families meet with teachers to discuss student progress throughout the year, but we also hold our Student-Led Conferences, where students take the lead and proudly present their learning journey to their parents.
These conferences help students build confidence in their presentation skills and, more importantly, encourage reflection. They share what they’re proud of, what they’ve enjoyed, what challenged them, and how they’ve grown from those challenges.

As the academic year is coming to an end in just a few weeks our students are left with only a few big events to gather house points. The last house event was a big success! It took place in front of the school with teacher participation and left the score board in an interesting state. At the moment the options there is still a lot possible and our houses still have the option to turn things around. It is definitely an exciting period for the houses.
