Today is October 5, World Teachers' Day. The day will be celebrated in Bangladesh like other countries of the world through various events. The theme of this year's Teachers' Day is' Teachers at the Center of Education Recovery '. The day is celebrated at the call of UNESCO to commemorate the contribution of all teachers in the world.
On the occasion of the day, various organizations have taken up programs.
On the occasion of World Teachers 'Day, a seminar titled' Dignity of Teachers in the Eyes of Bangabandhu 'has been organized at the seminar room of Engineers Institution in Ramna today at the initiative of Swadhinata Teachers' Council (Swaship). Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Joint-General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League will address the seminar as the chief guest. Swaship general secretary principal will present a written article. Shahjahan Alam Saju.
The National Celebration Committee for World Teachers' Day has organized a virtual exchange meeting in the evening. Planning Minister MA Mannan will address the function as the chief guest. The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Kazi Faruk Ahmed, President and Coordinator of the World Teachers' Day Celebration Committee. On the occasion of the day, Bangladesh Private Teachers-Employees Forum has organized a discussion program and rally titled 'Bangabandhu's Education Philosophy and Nationalization of MPO Education System in Mujib Year
