🎉 Project Completion Announcement: MindGuardian Chatbot 🎉 :

We are announcing the successful completion of our MindGuardian Chatbot (Try to use it: https://lnkd.in/g92YCHrt), an AI-powered mental well-being companion designed specifically for Generation Z, especially those in Bangladesh. This chatbot is now live and can be accessed at MindGuardian Chatbot. We invite all members of Zen G to try out the first-responder chatbot if you are facing mental health challenges such as depression.

🧠 Key Features:
Provides personalized support and resources for mental well-being.
Real-time interaction with a user-friendly interface to help Gen Z cope with stress, anxiety, and digital fatigue.

💡 Limitations: The chatbot is currently limited in handling complex cases of depression. As part of our future work, hyperparameter tuning for the LLM model is needed to improve its capabilities. Additionally, the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model, while effective, requires further optimization for more robust and accurate responses.

🙏 A special thank you to everyone involved at the beginning of the project, especially facilitators like, Mahbuba Yesmin Turaba, Fahad Bin Aziz, Sharmila Das and Sharika Jahan Aunto for their support. I want to highlight the incredible top performers(mentioned in the previous post Kevin Medri, Paul Turyahabwa, , Liyana M Bava, Omkar Bhatkande , Mohammad Adil) for their great effort. They stood still like a rock till the end that brought this project to life.

🚀 Excited to kick off our latest project titled as "MindGuardian: AI Chatbot for Gen Z Mental Well-Being" (Project Link: https://lnkd.in/eD79qzMw) with an incredible global team at the Omdena WUB Chapter! Today marks the beginning of an inspiring journey as we delve into understanding the factors contributing to cyberloafing behavior among Gen Z students and exploring innovative solutions to address this issue.
Traditional mental health interventions can be inaccessible or stigmatized, exacerbating mental health problems. Our project aims to bridge this gap by leveraging AI and data-driven insights to create more engaging and supportive environments for students.

Omdena WUB Chapter organized an online event titled " AI for Social Good: Omdena WUB chapter launch and hands-on workshop " on 8th June 2024.

We launched our first project "MindGuardian: AI Chatbot for Gen Z Mental Well-Being" on this day.

Dr.Rubaiyat Islam, Chapter lead, Omdena WUB chapter, Mahbuba Yesmin Turaba,Chapter Co-lead ,Omdena WUB chapter, Victor Ashioya, Local Chapter manager, Omdena were presented there. The respected Head of the Department Kazi H. Robin from World University of Bangladesh was also present at the workshop.

Participants got the chance to learn about AI and its impact on the technological era.
