This is to inform all concerned that candidates who have applied for various positions of the Sub-Executive Committee of Uttara University Moot Court Society, other than the positions of President, Vice President, and General Secretary, are hereby directed to appear for a formal interview on:

Candidates are requested to report at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time, attend the interview in formal attire, and bring a copy of their CV.

This is a prestigious opportunity open to candidates who possess substantial experience in the field of mooting.
Applicants who **do not have at least one full semester remaining**, or who have **already completed their LL.B. graduation**, are also eligible to apply.

π Proud Moment for Uttara University! π
Uttara University is delighted to share that recently a team of its law students successfully participated in the Asia-Pacific Regional Round of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition (MLSLMCC) 2026, held at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), India, after qualifying through the highly competitive Written Memorial Selection Round.
The team members were:
- Alfi Shahria
- Sabrina Selim Sami
- Fardin Islam Saad
The team demonstrated commendable dedication, research excellence, and advocacy skills throughout the competition. Although they narrowly missed advancing to the semi-finals after a fierce contest, their performance remains a matter of great pride for the University.
The final round of the competition was graced by Honβble Mr. Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque (Chief Justice of the High Court of Sikkim), Ms. Ranjana Kaul (Partner, Dua Associates), and Prof. K. R. Sridhara Murthi (Hon. Director, International Institute of Space Law).
The team was coached by Md. Naimul Hasan, Assistant Professor of Law and Moderator of the Uttara University Moot Court Society.

The tenure of the existing Executive Committee of UUMCS has officially concluded, and applications are now invited for the formation of the new Executive Committee.
This is a great opportunity for dedicated and enthusiastic students of the LL.B (Honours) Programme to contribute to the growth of mooting, legal research, and advocacy at Uttara University.
π Eligibility Criteria:
β Must be an LL.B (Honours) student
β Must have at least one full semester remaining
β Minimum CGPA of 3.25 out of 4.00 for Executive Committee positions
β Applicants without one remaining semester may apply for the position of Mentor
πΉ The incumbent President and Secretary are not eligible to apply for the same positions again.
πΉ Other current Executive Committee members may apply for the same or any other position.

Second UMSAILS-UAP Inter-University Moot Court Competition 2025.
Uttara University is delighted to share that our talented Moot Court Team has successfully reached the Quarter Final Round of the 2nd UMSAILS-UAP Inter-University Moot Court Competition 2025, Organized by UNESCO Madanjeet Sing South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies in Collaboration with the Department of Law and Human Rights,University of Asia Pacific(UAP).
Mooting in an essential part of the legal education, their participation in this prestigious competition provided them with an excellent opportunity to enhance their advocacy skills, deepen their Understanding of legal principles and gain invaluable courtroom experience.
We wish them the very best in all their future endeavors.β¨

The Uttara University Moot Court Society (UUMCS) successfully organized a workshop on Enhancing Mooting Skills.
We were honored to have Md. Naimul Hasan as our Guest Trainer, whose valuable insights and expertise enriched the session. His guidance helped participants develop a deeper understanding of mooting, legal reasoning, and effective argumentation.
Dr. Mafruza Sultana (Chairperson of the Department of Law) and Dr. Md. Faruk Hossain (Moderator, Uttara University Moot Court Society) were present at the event.
Members of UUMCS actively participated, making the workshop an engaging and insightful experience. We believe this session will play a vital role in shaping their journey as future mooters and legal professionals.
A huge thank you to our esteemed trainer and all our participants for making this event a success!

Uttara University Moot Court Society (UUMCS) successfully organized a Writing Competition, where 20 talented participants showcased their research and writing skills.
Winners:
1st Place: Ariyan Hossain Rajib Sheikh
2nd Place: Rois Uddin & Nabila Tabassum Tonni
3rd Place: Tamim Molla
Following the competition, the participants also had the opportunity to orally present their papers.
Dr. Mafruza Sultana (Chairperson of Department of Law), Dr. Md. Faruk Hossain (Moderator of Uttara University Moot Court Society) and Md. Naimul Hassan (Legal Advisor, Power China) were present at the event.

A team from the Uttara University Moot Court Society successfully participated in the 9th Bangladesh Qualifying Round of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2025, held from February 6th to 8th, 2025.
Out of 44 teams, our team ranked 18th.
Out of 89 oralists:
- Taief Mollik secured the 9th position.
- Jannatul Ferdouse Bisma secured the 32nd position.
Memorial Ranking:
