Barrister GR Mahmood, the honourable founder of Rafique Foundation for Education and Healthcare USA, visited Rafique Academy premises on June 6, 2024. Along with him, Dr. Rafique Jahan Mahmood, co-founder of the foundation; Collette Mahmood, the secretary of the foundation; Mr.Ahsan Uddin , the project director of the foundation; and Prof. Nurul Huq, the education advisor of Rafique Academy, were also present during this extempore yet convivial visit. The visit has been significant for a number of crucial policy-making sessions and development activities. The foundation has reminded the people working for the foundation to be more devoted and loyal to the task given to them and should have genuine voluntary zeal while serving the mission plan of the foundation. In terms of the development work, engineering development consultant Mr. Ekhtiar Uddin Noyon has presented his detailed plan regarding building the boundary wall. Mr. Shahjahan has been given responsibility to maintain the accounts, along with the purchase team led by Mr. Shamsul Islam, headmaster, and Mr. Showrob Barua, assistant headmaster of the academy.
This sudden visit has been remarkable for two extremely talented high school graders, Saffana and Naomi from Tenessee US, who conducted classes for classes eight and six, respectively. The students of Dr. Rafique Jahan Girls High School are privileged to have been taught by them. Saffana has taught English poetry and attempted to unfold the importance of understanding the rhyming pattern for reading and writing English poems. Naomi has shown her extra-ordinary skills in math teaching and shared learning about solving three-step word problems with the sixth grade students. It has been a momentous day for the visitors, the students, and the teachers of Rafique Academy.

We are delighted to share with you the wonderful experience we had at the recent Picnic and Guardians Meet held on January 24, 2024, at our lush green campus of Rafique Academy of Cox's Bazar. This event was truly memorable, as it brought together the Founders of Rafique Foundation for Education and Healthcare US, Barrister GR Mahmood and Dr Rafique Jahan Mahmood, and Trustee Mr. Haider Mahmood from the US, as well as the Project Director Mr. Ahsan Uddin from Dhaka.

The event was organized with the aim of fostering a strong bond between the school and the parents, and it turned out to be a resounding success. The picturesque campus of Rafique Academy of Cox's Bazar provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful interactions.

The founder, trustees, project director, education advisor, head mistress of Rafique Jahan Mahmood Girls High School, and head teacher of Barrister Rafique Uddin Mahmood Elementary School graced the occasion with their presence, and their enthusiasm and dedication towards the school's mission were truly inspiring. They took the time to engage with the parents, listen to their feedback, and address any concerns they had. It was heartwarming to witness the genuine care and commitment they have towards the students and their education.

The project director, who has been instrumental in the growth and development of Rafique Academy, also expressed satisfaction with the teachers and organizers who have played a pivotal role in making this event a success. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping the school into a center of excellence.

The day was filled with various activities, food festivals, and games, ensuring that both parents and students had a great time. From friendly sports competitions to team-building exercises, everyone had the opportunity to bond and create lasting memories. The picnic also provided a platform for parents to network and build relationships with each other, fostering a sense of community and support.

Overall, the Picnic and Guardians Meet at Rafique Academy was a remarkable event that showcased the strong partnership between the school, parents, and the US-based founder and Trustees. The Honorable Founder of Rafique Academy, Barrister GR Mahmood, paid his visit to the campus today, while project director Ahsan Uddin accompanied him. A number of activities were accomplished during this day-long schedule. The academic advisor, head of girls high school, teachers of the elementary school section, and delegates from the school management committee were present. The founder has voiced extreme discipline and compliance to be adhered to irrespective of position and ensure the foundation's mission goal. The management committee has been delegated their respective duties, and finally, a yearly tree plantation has been launched by the founder.
