There has been much work to establish a head injury grading system for CT / MRI reports. The NIRIS scale was proposed in 2018, and may find some place in the upcoming HIRADS (head injury reporting & data system). Here's an overview of the NIRIS scale that I wrote for .org

It's like the meme of the A380 v/s the F18. To be precise, not everyone is needed to be fast & furious : they have their own place.

Doesn't everything look quite ok on this xray, other than the CBD stent?
But why'd the patient's jaundice & ALP not subside?
Any thoughts on the cause?

Here's another case of mine showing an intubation gone horribly wrong. Things like this may happen even in the most expert hands, due to other factors like patient's cooperation, body structure etc.
❓❔ What is the first step to be taken after getting such an image?

The abdomen has for long been called the "magic box" of the body. This is because it contains so many organs & systems in one place that their disease symptoms are overlapping / mixed, creating an overall diagnostic delusion. However, CT appearances are quite specific & accurate for almost all abdominal diseases, including emergencies. This module is designed based on the FRCR & EDiR curricula, to get the learner acquainted with those conditions and the individual findings of each disease that is most specific & sensitive.
Learning provides 1 hr CPD for my "Emergency Abdominal CT" module. Enjoy learning!
