local international is an international academic exchange project for fashion designers from Germany and Bangladesh focusing on sustainability and fair production methods within the fashion and textile industry. Since 2014, it has several collaborative partners including Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology - BUFT UdK Berlin (Universität der Künste Berlin) & National Crafts Council of Bangladesh.
