Ramisha’s brutal killing, amid the rising tide of gender-based violence and social decay, once again calls into question the credibility of our justice system.

GSCDC stands in solidarity and urges the state and its institutions to rise above routine statements and clichéd rhetoric and ensure a transparent investigation alongside swift and exemplary punishment for those responsible.

Beyond grief and outrage, this moment demands a renewed social covenant: a Bangladesh where the dignity and safety of every woman and child will be ensured not by performative lip service but by the conscience and responsibility of the state.

We are proud to announce that GSCDC has joined hands with another incredible organization Govt. Science College Math Club to bring you a special session.

We are pleased to announce a special interdisciplinary session bringing together the disciplines of logical reasoning and the art of public discourse. This collaborative initiative is designed to equip members with the skills of structured argumentation, confident public speaking, and effective communication — while fostering a vibrant and engaged club culture within our institution.

The session will be presided over by two distinguished judges who will provide evaluation and academic guidance throughout the proceedings.

শুভ নববর্ষ

নব নূরের তাজাল্লিতে জাগুক বাঙালিয়ানা,
আলপনার রঙে রাঙুক হৃদয়ের আঙিনা

বাংলাদেশের মাটির গন্ধে অদ্ভুত এক স্বীকারোক্তি আছে— যে একবার শুনেছে, সে আর কখনো পুরোপুরি পরবাসী হতে পারে না। এখানে রক্ত, বেদনা আর স্বপ্ন মিলেমিশে হয়ে ওঠে এক অবিনশ্বর কবিতা। বাংলার অন্তর্লীন সুর—এর প্রতিটি অনুরণে মিশে আছে সেই ইতিহাস,এই সুরেই নদীর ঢেউ, এই সুরেই উর্বর জমির হাসিখেলা, এই সুরেই ভাটিয়ালি-ভাওয়াইয়া—এক অনাদৃত অথচ অনিবার্য পরিচয়।

এই দেশ রক্তের বিনিময়ে অর্জিত, এর প্রতি দায়বদ্ধতা তাই কেবল স্মরণে কিংবা কবিতায় কিংবা প্রবন্ধে সীমাবদ্ধ থাকতে পারে না। যুক্তিতে, নীতিতে এবং সিদ্ধান্তে এই দেশকে প্রতিফলিত করাই আমাদের প্রকৃত দায়িত্ব।
