Farewell Ceremony in Honour of the Director of Army IBA, Sylhet
On 9 July 2026, Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Sylhet, organised a heartfelt farewell ceremony in honour of its respected Director, Brigadier General Kazi Mohammad Kaiser Hossain, ndu, psc (retd).
The programme featured cultural performances by AIBA students and invited performers, creating an atmosphere of respect, emotion, and gratitude. The currently running batches also presented mementos to the Director in recognition of his inspiring leadership, guidance, and valuable contributions to the institution.
On behalf of the faculty members, Assistant Professor Chinmoy Das Gupta delivered a respectful speech, expressing sincere appreciation for the Director’s vision, dedication, and service to AIBA, Sylhet.
In his emotional farewell address, the Director reflected on his memorable journey and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students. He spoke proudly of AIBA’s growth and described the students as his greatest achievement. He encouraged them to remain honest, disciplined, humble, and committed to lifelong learning while upholding the values of AIBA wherever they go.
The ceremony concluded with a dinner attended by the guests, faculty members, and students, fostering a warm sense of togetherness among the AIBA family.
Although the occasion marked a formal farewell, Brigadier General Kazi Mohammad Kaiser Hossain, ndu, psc (retd) will always remain an honoured part of the history and heart of Army IBA, Sylhet. The AIBA family expresses its deepest gratitude and wishes him good health, happiness, honour, and continued success in the years ahead.
